I took this picture a couple years ago, but must support the love affair with Texas wildflowers discussed in the above article and share them with my non-Texan friends, who like brisket may not have been properly introduced yet. The cute girl distracting you from the flowers is my god-daughter's older sister. I take pictures of the girls in fields of bluebonnets and not along the highways. I find it odd to dress ourselves up and particularly our small children and take pictures along the highway, but such is the tradition of many Texans.
